About New York University
NYU Wagner’s Urban Planning Program, located in a global city, provides students with the knowledge and skills to improve the built environment of cities and the well-being of their residents. Based in a school of public service, our program emphasizes the context in which planning takes place, teaching students how to engage various stakeholders and navigate political, organizational, legal, and financial environments. Learning from a wide array of courses, full-time faculty, and leading practitioners, together with the vibrant and diverse neighborhoods around them, NYU students develop the organizational and analytical skills essential to meet 21st century urban challenges.Points of Distinction
