About Stefan Al

Stefan Al is an architect, urban designer, author, and Associate Professor of Urban Policy and Planning at Hunter College. He has published eight books on topics such as transit-oriented development, climate adaptation, and urban density, which have been widely praised by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and NPR.
