About Ricardo Cardoso
My research focuses on transnational urbanism, oil economies, and development in African cities. My current book project on Luanda, the capital of Angola, examines how energy generation shapes urban form. Based on long-term fieldwork, this informs debates on energy futures, climate change, and their urban impacts.
