About University of Waterloo
The University of Waterloo School of Planning is the largest in Canada. We offer fully accredited Planning degrees at the undergraduate (BES - Planning) and graduate (MA or MES - Planning) levels. We also offer a PhD (Planning). The School is located in the Faculty of Environment. Our learning and research culture has been guided by inter-disciplinarity and experiential learning since the School’s inception in 1968. The School’s 20 full-time faculty and 500+ students explore issues such as affordable housing, ecological approaches to urban design, planning for climate change, and planning with Indigenous peoples, among many other subjects.Degrees & Programs
