The Bachelor of Planning programs at the University of Northern British Columbia offers three majors, to fit our graduates to respond to the needs and interests of communities in Northern British Columbia and elsewhere, to First Nations, and to the relationship between communities and their environments.Points of Distinction
Students in Planning and Sustainability at UNBC learn through a community-engaged, practice-oriented curriculum, working with communities on real issues. Students can specialize in rural and northern communities, First Nations, or environmental planning. Our undergraduate first professional program offers small class sizes, and opportunities to work one-on-one with faculty on research and practice. Students engage with professionals in classes and through the Student Planners Association. UNBC is located in the spectacular landscape of northern British Columbia, UNBC is one of Canada’s best small universities.
