About University of Alberta

The School of Urban and Regional Planning encompasses all levels of education, with a BA, BSc, MSc or PhD specialization in Planning. Our degree programs strive to educate students in both the art and science of planning by offering practical learning experiences, including field schools where students take a hands-on approach to learning about urban and regional planning in the real world with established professionals in the field. We contribute to the practice and profession of planning, and to more just, sustainable and livable communities through integrated teaching, learning, research and engagement.
