About Alabama A&M University
The Department of Community and Regional Planning houses two Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) accredited programs: the Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning (BSUP) and the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP). The MURP program, established in 1975, has been accredited by PAB since 1976, while the BSUP program, established in 1979, has been accredited since 1986. Both programs have been reaccredited by PAB for seven years, from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2030, demonstrating their continued adherence to PAB's strict educational standards and confidence in their quality.Points of Distinction
