Retired professor as of July 2024 but now active as dystopian fiction writer focusing on impact of artificial intelligence on society, cities, and human psyche. Scholarly interests are politically divided cities, nationalistic/ethnic conflict and urbanism, and urban and intergovernmental growth policy.
