About Loretta Lees

Professor Loretta Lees is the Director of the Initiative on Cities and a Professor of Sociology at Boston University. An urban geographer committed to justice, Professor Lees is internationally known for her research on gentrification and urban regeneration, global urbanism, urban policy, urban public space, architecture, and urban social theory.
