About Bryce Lowery
Bryce Lowery is a Visiting Scholar of Innovative Governance in the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University and Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma.
He studied environmental policy at the University of Michigan, landscape architecture at California State Polytechnic University, and spatial planning at USC.

My research focuses on physical determinants of neighborhood well-being as well as land use policies that aim to improve community health. , I am particularly interested in access to food, exposure to outdoor advertising, and exposure to retail cannabis in neighborhoods. , My research appears in Applied Geography, the American Journal of Public Health, Environment and Planning B: Planning and Design, the Interdisciplinary Journal of Wayfinding and Signage, the Journal of the American Planning Association, the Journal of Planning History, and Substance Use and Misuse, Preventing Chronic Disease, among others.
