About Ana Walker
I examine the role of participatory institutions in fostering socially and environmentally just cities. My action research identifies systems of oppression that limit marginalized communities' engagement in governance, focusing on amplifying the voices of informal dwellers and migrants in the Americas through community organizing, capacity building, and access to justice.
